Ethic Line channels Say Us and Ombudsman

Reliable reporting channels for internal and external stakeholders and the protection of employee whistle-blowers against sanctions are indispensable for effective compliance, because they help ensure that possible misconduct is reported, thoroughly investigated and brought to light.

Channels for reporting misconduct

In order to obtain knowledge of any compliance violations, we provide various ways for internal and external parties to report them. The compliance reporting channel “Say Us,” the Ombudsman and accounting complaints are protected channels that LOMGroup employees and shareholders can use to raise concerns about possible violations, confidentially and if desired, also anonymously.

In addition, possible misconduct can also be reported directly via the Managing Board, in particular to the Compliance Officers in the individual corporate units or to the Compliance Officer of LOMGroup directly . Our employees make regular use of this reporting channel.

 

Employees who report compliance violations at LOMGroup are protected by a special guideline that prohibits sanctions of any kind when reports are made in good faith. Thus, anyone who reports possible violations in good faith may not be disadvantaged in any way at LOMGroup. LOMGroup is a strong supporter of Wisthleblowing.

The compliance whistleblower hotline “Say Us” gives all employees and shareholders a secure mechanism for the reporting of compliance violations.

Multilingual and anonymous

Integrity and transparency are of the highest priority in supporting the confidence our customers, partners, shareholders and employees place in LOMGroup.  Therefore, it is important that LOMGroup is aware of all compliance violations, especially those that are against the law or violate our Business Conduct Guidelines.

The “Say Us” hotline is for reporting compliance violations in a secure manner, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, in 13 languages, online or via telephone.  You may choose to make your report anonymous.  “Say Us” can be used by employees and management and shareholders.  The “Say Us” system is managed by a third party supplier.  All data supplied in a report is maintained on secure servers.  All reported content is handled exclusively by LOMGroup.

 

LOMGroup's internal whistleblowers are protected by special regulations that protect whistleblowers who make good faith reports to the best of their knowledge. Please be aware that intentional reporting of false information is prohibited by law in many countries. In addition to “Say Us”, the LOMGroup Ombudsman is also available for the reporting of compliance violations.

Ombudsman

The LOMGroup Ombudsman is the central office for reporting improper business practices. The Attorney Mag. Dr. H.M. Werner Heilmann, Vienna, has been appointed to serve as an external ombudsman for the Company, in order to give employees a protected reporting channel for possible compliance violations. Employees and external parties can contact this impartial individual on a confidential and anonymous basis if they have observed any improper business practices in the Company.
